We came in after dark on Amtrak, so this was a few streets over from the station and a nice place to sleep overnight before heading up to Pismo Beach on the walking path near the beach. The room was great for the price. It seems like it was recently updated so no complaints from me. I booked it a few days before and everything worked out.
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
We go to Pismo 3-4 times a year. This was the first time we stayed at Motel 6 Pacific Ocean. This is by far the best yet. Thank you so much ❤️ see you soon again. We love it. It was very clean, bed was comfortable the coffee in the morning was good. The smiling girl at the front desk is an awesome addition and very close to walk.

I like how close it was too the gift shops, food,and the beach and I also like how you can park your car at the motel and then come back to check in save you 8 dollars an hour at the pier

We got a second floor room with a balcony view of the ocean - it was beautiful. The room is way bigger than typical motel rooms. The check in staff was very helpful recommending a restaurant - Old Juan's Cantina is five miles away or so, but the Mexican food there is fantastic, and this is from a guy who cooks his own and is tough to get a good grade from.
The location is very good if you're looking for a peaceful stay - on the far west end away from all the Pismo Beach off-road activity.
Average basic beach motel. Close to beach and close to highway. Good spot for traveling to Avila Beach and Arroyo Grande. Easy check in and check out. Decent dog fee compared to other hotels. Cute decor.
The motel was clean and very comfortable. It is conveniently located. Close to the pier; I would say it is walkable for folks used to walking. I had to drive.
Pictures don't do this justice. The motel room was super clean and spacious and looked like it had recently been renovated. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Free parking (and we could stay longer than check in if required to visit the area). Comfy bed. Great access to the beach and pier.
Great location right on the beach front. Amazing room and the staff was super friendly and helpful! Pismo beach was a bit of a surprise location on the road trip, really enjoyed the place, the beach and the motel was super located to enjoy the area. We will be back next time we're in California.
