The air conditioning in the lobby and hallways was not working and it was very hot. They gave us an upstairs room and we requested a bottom floor because I am limited on mobility and on oxygen and there was no elevator, when we arrived the staff member said that there was nothing available on the bottom floor and in the morning the staff member told us that we should have gotten the bottom floor because they did have some.

The owner was just lovely! The property like everything in the desert is worn but oh so comfortable and quaint. The pool is SO nice after a hike at Joshua Tree and at night the courtyard of this place is magical.
Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
I love that it looks like (or is) an old Western hotel with cactus landscaping - the lighted areas are gorgeous at night. I also like that it is (far enough) behind a restaurant/bar (Pappy and Harriet's) - very quaint motel - loved it! Renee at the front desk was very helpful!
A little bit country. We loved the nostalgia of the motel. Rooms were spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and shower had plenty of pressure. It was also very close to all that Pioneertown had to offer.

I would recommend a stay in Pioneertown motel to everyone who is wonderful about it.
Before we visited I wondered if we would feel safe, or if there might be spiders or anything in the room.
I can assure you that we felt relaxed, completely at ease, and that the room was clean and free from any bugs.

The staff were brilliant.
The room was clean and had just the right mix of cowboy charm with nice toiletries and A/C.
I got up at 06:00 and just walked around looking at everything; had Mane St to myself!!
I've read a whole bunch of reviews complaining about the fact that this motel is basic, but I can't help but feel that's the point.
The room was basic but charming. The toiletries of great quality, water pressure brilliant, wifi solid. Parking super easy.
Check in experience and staff faultless.
No TV in the room but I kind of think that's nice.
