The location is great and the downtown area is easily walkable if its not too hot. The design and decor was cute mid-century. The overall hotel was in good condition. The price was competitive compared to surrounding motels/hotels.
The gentleman voluntarily passed on information to activities in the area including eating .

Certainly don't let the price of this motel fool you, this was a fantastic place to stay and was obvious he took great pride in making sure his establishment was spotless tidy and clean. Definitely stay here next time
I’m a big fan of motels. Large, comfortable rooms and free parking (as opposed to $80-$100 a day if you stay in a ‘nice’ hotel). Vagobond is no exception. location is about 20 minutes walk from downtown Palm Springs, but there are several cool bars and restaurants within a 2 minute walk as it’s right in the area where a lot of resort hotels are located. I liked it.
I absolutely loved The Twist! A retro motel turned into gorgeous apartments, friendly staff, fantastic amenities, free parking, what's not to love. The location was fantastic, coffee shop and tiki bar right next store, you can walk to everything and I was lucky enough to have a nice balcony with an outstanding view of the palm trees and mountains. Extra bonus having free margaritas by the pool!! I can't wait to stay again.
