A typical motel and pretty much what we expected. I wish they would get rid of the carpet because it made the room smell and also made it dark even in summer. They gave us room very close to each other and easy check in. Simple breakfast but they had given this information when booking the hotel so that was fine.
Room was clean and spacious had micro wave and coffee maker and frig in room and i didn't expect for the price. Motel was dated you could tell it's been there a while. I would stay there again if in area!
Hot water for my tea did NOT taste like coffee. - top notch! . Other motels heat the tea water in same pots coffee is made in and the hot water absorbs the coffee taste from previous times thus making tea taste horrible. This location makes the effort to provide hot water for tea free from coffee flavor!
We actually arrived and were horrified at the outside. First of all, pictures didn't show outside one level motel. The area and people hanging around made it look unsafe. The lady at the desk was polite. She explained that the pool was broken and offered us a refund if we wanted. It was not her fault, but we accepted. We actually booked a hotel nearby in Corning and had a nice experience.
A very good, low-frills motel I have stayed at multiple times: clean, super-quiet, and well-run.
