Looking for a motel?
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.

This historic beachy motel has been renovated and maintained with loving care. It's not waterfront but central to everywhere on the island! We only were there for 2 days for the Ocracoke music Festival and the accommodations were perfect for our needs. Amazing island, lovely stay!

There was a restaurant next door that we went to. Breakfast is not included at this motel.

I was on 2nd floor with a view of a wall. Stairs, no elevator. Clean but aging room. I suppose it was worth the price; just your basic motel room from long ago.

I stayed here for one night with my best friend in a room with two double beds. The room was clean and big, and the little kitchenette with fridge and microwave was so convenient for reheating leftovers. The location is amazing, and the motel has bicycles in excellent condition that you can rent on-site. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but it was clean and people were there having a great time. I’d definitely stay here again.

The location was very good. I was concerned the room wouldn't be big enough when we first booked but it was perfect. Loved the lobby with; the Conch shell, the statue of Blackbeard, the reception desk looking like a ship. We didn't have time to use the Games Room. I really liked the fact that this was a rather old building. The hallways were gorgeous. We had originally tried to book another hotel/motel but it was booked.

The location was great and we ate breakfast at restaraunt behind the motel. Staff was nice The tv picture was fuzzy but we didn't really watch much. We were there for my Uncle's memorial service. So everything was fine with room and we were comfortable.

The motel is close to everything, of course, because Ocracoke Island is so small. Because it was off-season, they upgraded us to a suite at no extra charge, which was great. We were pretty much the only guests at the motel.
