Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
To start with the door looked as if it was kicked in several times, it was cold in the room and found out the room was controlled by the motel and we were told to climb up and shut the vent. The room had two remotes for tv and we had to go get office to come and enter password so we could get access, no ice machine available, no hair dryer in the room, no phone to contact the office. In addition the man at the front desk was not very pleasant. I would not recommend this motel to anyone and the Ratings’s are way over stated.

The breakfasts are very good, free coffee round the clock, and free popcorn. It's walking distance to a good local diner.
Best of all, it is a very reasonable price.
We'd left too early to have breakfast. The staff was awesome! Very friendly and willing to chat. Both evening and morning staff were very friendly And welcoming And welcoming. We often seek out a Motel 6 and this is one of the best we have stayed in
The staff was warm and helpful. The room itself is pristine (the bathroom in particular) and very comfortable, more like a well appointed guest bedroom at a friend’s house than another impersonal motel. Even the little covered patio and the flowers and big blue gnome made us feel welcome upon our arrival.
North Platte is a great stopover for us from Minnesota as we go west. The La Quinta is the best motel we've stayed at in North Platte. We've already booked our room for our next trip west.
Small, old fashioned motel, very charming, easy to find from I -80, beautiful grounds, well cared-for, friendly and helpful staff, free coffee, fruit, snacks, yoghurt and water all day in office
It's a dated travel lodge that is slowly being renovated and updated. The room was refreshed but the bathroom was original 70' s. Check In was easy. The breakfast was good. I asked the man that was taking care of the breakfast if he owned the motel. I wanted to compliment him. He answered that God owned everything and we need to thank God. Okay. At Least he didn't say Alla.
I love this family owned motel and stay here whenever I’m on the road west. It is clean and the staff is very sweet. A relaxed different vibe from the chain hotels.
