Looking for a motel?
Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.

Good location, easy to find. Downtown Nogales is pretty empty these days. This motel was on a main boulevard a mile or so north of the border crossing with restaurants and big stores within easy drive or walking distance. Staff were very helpful

I have been staying in the same motel La Siesta for the last 7 years in a row. I get booked at least 7-8 a year and mostly 1 or 2 days at a time. Very satisfied with the place... I love it.

We only needed a place to sleep the night and leave early in the morning to cross the border. the beds were comfy after being in a car for 15 hours! It was the closest motel to the border and easy to get too. Room was decent and cleaned. It literally was just for a few hours to stretch and sleep and take off at 5am.

This motel was clean, had a comfortable bed, and a hot shower (and they let my cat stay). That is all I really need. There is a Walmart nearby for those last minute purchases before crossing the border. The motel is just a few miles from the border crossing into Mexico so I can get an early start on my winter migration to San Carlos. I believe that is the intent of Motel 6 - a good stop-over. I rated it based on that and not in comparison to a luxury hotel.

Room was clean, staff were very pleasant, excellent location. The room didn’t have much room to walk between the beds, even tighter than most Motel 6’s, however we made it work. Appreciate that they take pets and keep the rooms spotless. We had a recently updated room, with both a microwave and fridge which was great. Highly recommend this spot, it is really close to the border as well. We were on our way to Bucerias, Mx and wanted an early start, due to the extremely hot temperatures. Excellent value.

The motel is in a good location with the Denny's Restaurant next door, so if you arrive late you can still walk over and get decent food without driving anywhere else.
