Looking for a motel?
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.

Adorable rooms, decorated more like a bedroom in someone's home than a motel room. Very comfortable bed. Super nice owner. Cute little sitting area in front of room as well as larger outdoor sitting area. Mule deer wandering through the parking lot. Location is woodsy and private, but close to shops and restaurants. Loved it.

The motel was a good value and the three bed suite was exactly what we needed for our family.

This was just such a sweet motel off the beaten path and so private and cute. There were deer grazing in the yard by the beautiful pine hedge , there was a sweet gazebo type place in the yard, we just loved our stay here.

Sage Motel is a good mom n pop motel. The furnishings are just fine - everything you need. And clean. I appreciated the new, tight windows that one can open; and the frig/microwave. The brick walls kept everything quiet. Staff was accommodating and helpful. You can go and swim at the Newcastle Convention Center's nice indoor pool just around the corner for $5. Call them for their pool hours.

It is a lovely property located off the beaten path but still close to restaurants and fuel stations. Deer wander through the property adding to the charm. The staff is super friendly and helpful. My room was cozy and inviting - like staying in grandma's guest bedroom with it's own bathroom. They have a cute reading nook with a nice selection of books in the room. The complimentary continental breakfast was a nice bonus with coffee, hot cocoa, cereals, milk, bagels, fruit and yogurt. This is my new favorite motel.

A clean and quaint motel brings you back to times long gone. The staff was very friendly. There was seating available outside your room to enjoy the evening and breakfast the next morning. A very pleasant experience.

Adorable place and super clean. An older motel that has been kept up beautifully. Charming setting. The woman who checked us in and helped us was delightful.
