The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
Our room was a hodgepodge of furniture - like a cheap motel - except for a very nice bed. The room was clean, but the carpet felt damp when walked on in bare feet. Basically, someone has a cash cow charging high rates because there is no better choice nearby. The restaurant was excellent, and there is beach access.
The view was perfect. The motel was so close to the beach. Perfect for the large dog I took. The location is more isolated from traffic and lots of people. Some chairs are placed down closer to the beach so you can sit close to the water
The view of the beach from the deck was beautiful and we loved that it was dog friendly and had a small kitchen. It’s a simple beach motel in a sleepy town so it was exactly as expected!
This motel was amazing! The rooms were immaculate and had so many little bonuses for an extended stay like dish soap and cooking utensils. We definitely recommend this place.
This motel has great views from every room. It sits right on the beach. The Staff was great and super helpful. The room was very clean. The bed and pillows were super comfy. They have games and puzzles for those rainy hours or evening use. They also have filtered water in the office so you can refill your bottles. We had a room kitchenette. It was fully appointed and we used it daily. We enjoyed long walks on the beach and beautiful sunsets.
Kate, the Manager, was excellent to work with and took good care of our stay ! The motel and room locations and views were awesome! The room was very well appointed and very clean. We will gladly be returning to this venue . Thank you Kate and the hotel staff!

This is our 3rd time and we will continue to come back again and again! Thank you for all the special care, touches you provide in your lobby from the greeting/welcome to items for our doggie, Winter Moons in the room to the fun games you can check-out and just the overall hospitality and taking care of us through-out our stay!!! Moonstone Motel is right on the beach, so you walk out onto the dunes to the beach. They have trails through the grassy dunes, with Adirondack chairs set up on peak dunes with a great view of the ocean. I was in a room for pets, and they had a special tote filled with blankets and towels to use for the dogs - very nice! A sheltered deck provides a great view of the ocean while sipping coffee.
Incredibly beautiful location by the vast, serene and pristine beach of the Pacific with spectacular sunsets. The motel is stylish, comfortable, very very clean and very well equipped. The guys running the place are super nice!
