Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
A cozy small airport hotel with free parking facilities. Room of decent size, bed is comfortable. They provide discounted coupon for hotel guest to take breakfast at the adjoining restaurant, but we drove to Burlingame and there are few good cafe for breakfast and many shops and restaurants.
Good location if you’re coming or going from SFO. Although if you need to take a taxi or Lyft to/from the airport, it’s about $30 each way. Security is handled well. Checkout process came to us rather than needing to go to the office and wait at a desk. The owners have succeeded updating a classic motel to a nice little inn.
Horrible. We did not stay at the hotel and requested a refund but they refused. When we arrived there, the place was filthy and smelled bad we. The clerk was rude and made racist remark. We contacted booking.com The hotel does not look like what is shown online. It's in a bad area and it is more of a cheap motel looking like. Avoid at all cost.
Safe and quiet rooms, even though the hotel is located on a busy street. On this same street were supermarkets, shops, restaurants, and gas stations. The hotel (which is actually more like a motel) was very well cared for, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was well made and tasty.
An extensively renovated 3 story strip motel. Beautiful in the details, like a small outdoor seating area, providing water bottles instead of plastic, coffee, hot chocolate gratis AND wine by the glass. And of course the location, about 100 yards from the SFO monorail / CalTrain / BART terminal, so very easy access from SFO for early morning flights or late night arrivals. Good restaurants within short walks [we liked Neal's Coffee Shop]. Just an overall pleasant experience at a good value.
Our room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Friendly staff. Great location in Millbrae. About a 20 minute walk to Millbrae BART/Caltrains station, however, the motel also has onsite parking. Walking distance to restaurants/shops on Broadway. Impressive free breakfast.
