Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
The price is not good for what you get but, for LA, it was the best deal I could find on a budget. If using the metro, the location is very good as it is right next to the C Line and one stop away from the A Line which can get you anywhere north or south. From LAX, you catch a free shuttle to the metro line and, after a few stops, you're a short walk to the motel. I will include a picture of the hotel from the metro station.
This was my third stay at the Mission Motel. My room was nice, clean and comfortable. The staff at Mission Motel is kompetent, caring, and professional. Mission Motel is close to the Metro Train Station which was important for me, and a Bus Station is right there at the next Corner Street. I like very much how empathically guests are treated at the Mission Motel. I look forward to my next stay in 2024.
The room is big, clean and comfortable. The car parking is very useful. The motel is just two step from Mexico Plaza where you can find some market and shops. Also the Metro C line (Green), connected to LAX airport, is not far.
Quiet, clean, affordable rooms and location was right on the bus line. The motel was located very close to everything from stores to restaurants, all within a couple of blocks. Within walking distance or 1/2 block from the bus stop.
My memories about budget motel in Los Angeles were terrifyng but something is changed! Mission Motel has been a good deal: the room was big and clean, the guy at reception has been very kind (he offers two bottles of water for free!). Even Long Beach Boulevard is fool of motels, in my opinion this one is the best.
