The person at the front desk was very nice and very friendly and the room was clean. We always look for an indoor pool and breakfast, and motel had both. The room was just the right size for an overnight stay. The lodge was cozy, with a pool table, tables and chairs, couches and a huge fireplace.

This is my third time staying at this property and I am planning to come back. Every single time the customer service is at the highest level, everything is clean and functioning, and rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay (which is really impressive for a two-star motel). The location is extremely convenient to any hikes in Franconia State Park. There is a gas station nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The location was excellent. We loved the owner and his wife. They were very friendly and responsive. It was the cleanest motel I ever stayed in. You can tell how proud they are of their property. I would recommend it to anyone and look forward to returning.
The breakfast room is huge, the products offered are above average for this type of motel (bananas would be a bonus).

Property was so nice being right on the river. It is an older motel so there was a little mustiness to the room but it had nice big windows and this time of year we could open the windows and get glorious fresh air and the beautiful sound if the river behind the motel!
