Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
It's a motel. You'll have plenty of parking options, the shower is hot and the room is clean. Bathroom will have soap and shower gel with one towel per person. When checking in after 2:30pm they'll tell you the room number and leave the door open for a self check in. It's more expensive than usual motels, but that's just the Hawaiian price. It's still one of the cheapest options.
My Fitbit recorded the best sleep I ever had although I'd say it's a usual bed. Generally would recommend and stay there again.
The room was clean and had a basic and good interior. It is good for work travels and easy to reach. The service of Tip Top Motel and contact/ E-Mail exchange etc was always quick, kind and appreciative. Thank you very much!
This is a 1950 motel that has seen no renovations. Staff were non existent on check in and mono syllabic the next morning. Do not expect an Aloha welcome. If you need a bed and shower and nothing else this place would be a value at one quarter the price.
What we like is close to the airport and small and clean. No elevator but one does not pay a big price, Good value for 1 a nightstand then on to our timeshare. We can save 300 to 400 dollars by flying on Friday out of Portland direct to Lihue at 7AM. The motel is all we need for that 1st night.
It's a charming motel. The AC was a window unit. I had a pleasant night's rest. Keep in mind. all over Kauai, even at 5 star hotels, you will hear roosters crow in the morning and before sunset. Don't like it, go somewhere else.
Stuff was extremely friendly, all motel was really clean, freshly painted. Shower was freshly remodeled. Hot water is good. Towels are fresh. You will get soap and shampoo. Free parking lot. Breakfast in motel.
