The lodge was beautifully decorated and had a cozy feel. The bed was soft and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with enough pans and cutlery that you could cook if you wished. It was walking distance into town so restaurants were in easy reach (and close to the brewery!) and it was only about 15 mins drive to get up into the mountains. There was also a lovely view of the mountains from the front. It snowed heavily while we were there and they cleared the paths and car park so we could easily get out. As it was due to be really cold overnight they kindly offered us extra blankets, but it wasn’t needed as the rooms were lovely and warm anyway.

The hotel is very conveniently located on the shore of the lake, within walking distance of a large store. The indoor pool, sauna and whirlpool were amazing. Breakfast is included in the price. There is a hiking trail through the forest 10 minutes from the hotel. I recommend it!!!
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
We really enjoyed our three-day stay. A team with a high level of service awareness Comfortable room Convenient facilities Excellent dining room Pool and jacuzzi Excellent breakfast Free parking Excellent location. Accessible to the Olympic center to the main street and a bathing beach
Motel style in beautiful location on Lake Placid. Access to lake with use of canoes and paddle boats. Nice lawn yard on the lake. Family owned and operated. Great location with sidewalks on street side. Clean rooms.
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was well appointed with attention to the little details that make your stay comfortable and easy. Not like a traditional hotel with corridors and elevators. But unlike a traditional motel. Grass courtyard when you walk out your room gives it a country feel. Firepit, sauna, swimming are nice additions. A++
The motel is super quaint and relaxing. We really loved how close it is to all the other amenities Lake Placid has to offer, and the lake view is just what we needed. Not to mention, this is family-run, so they were very helpful with everything. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
The room was exceptionally clean, with no off-putting "old hotel" odors or "cover-up" scents. The bed was vey comfortable, with a mattress that felt like new. The hot water was hot within seconds. The room rate was very fair for the total eclipse weekend. I am not a breakfast person, so I did not partake or even observe what was offered. I did not log onto the motel's wifi, choosing to use my own mobile "hotspot."
The lobby was amazing. Such a beautiful area, all raw pine Scandi vibe. I wished I could've relaxed there longer. It'd be great if you were working remotely.
The beds were soft and comfy, and the pillows were large and luxurious.
The shower was lovely with luxury toiletries.
I really enjoyed the lodge space. I'm an early riser and my wife isn't so having a place to be in the early morning was a good thing for a motel style space. Fast wifi and super comfortable beds. Check in was easy for me, but may not be easy for everyone.
