Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
The motel was adorable. Bed was extremely comfortable. Continental breakfast was delicious. The owner was so accommodating. Would definitely come and stay again! Thank you Kelly!
The property was very clean. It was newly renovated from an old motel to a modern updated property. This is the second such kind of property we have stayed in. Hopefully, more can be saved. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
We have been to some vintage motels that were modernized to look like new, but they took all the vintage charm out. This one feels 90% like what it would have been like back in the 1940s or 50s. Yes it has a new TV and microwave, but otherwise, it feels original to the time period.
The location was good because it was close enough to Kennebunkport to visit but far enough away to not get caught in the bustle. Very clean and neat.

Location in the country but not walkable as on busy road. Clean mom and pop motel with nice continental breakfast. Rachel was very helpful with restaurant recommendations.
Rachel, the owner was so friendly and helpful. I needed a late check in and she was so accommodating! She built us a campfire and was so helpful recommending things to do. I like the mid century vibe of the motor lodge. I really enjoy staying at small, locally owned places!
The management does a magnificent job taking care of her customers and ensuring customers feel welcomed. Rachel went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The rooms were cozy, comfortable and clean. There’s quite a bit to do at the KPT Motor Lodge after long days of sightseeing, feasting on lobster and clams or relaxing at the beach. We really enjoyed our chats and friendly atmosphere and look forward to future summer stays.
Great location near the beaches and the town of Kennebunk Port. Warm and helful welcome from Rachel et her team. Our daughter enjoyed the pool. We appreciated the free pass for the beaches parking. The motel has been partly renovated and is clean.
