Looking for a motel?
Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.

This motel is closest to the Badlands without having to go into Wall. It was a great value.

Perfect for what it is. A motel on the side of a freeway. Clean rooms, not noisy, simple breakfast. No complaints.

There was a bit of cereal in the lobby, but because our host said that breakfast would be put out around 9:00 we just ate our own breakfast because we wanted to be on the road by then. I believe our host was doing their best but the hotel was understaffed.

Owner was really friendly. Biscuits and gravy was good, nice variety for continental breakfast, for a two star motel. Towels were soft!

Breakfast was okay. Could use a little more variety. Maybe a few pastries and some hard boiled eggs. Biscuits and gravy would be amazing, but I know all motels can't do that.

It is a budget motel, so, no frills. However I was pleasantly surprised at the very high quality and cleanliness of the basics -- bed and bathroom. The room was spacious albeit an unorthodox L shape. If you go in expecting the basics, you will be highly satisfied, and it's a great deal for cost.

The night we stayed at the ABVI there was tornadoes passing through and on the ground. the motel was knocked out of power as was the rest of the town, we felt like the staff did a fantastic job of keeping everyone safe by having us all gather in the downstairs hallway then they were good enough to open the doors to people coming in off the interstate and offer them a safe place to stay they did a fantastic job with what they had to work with. I would stay here again just maybe not in tornado season!

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Even though it's an old style motel, the rooms have been remodeled recently and have all the amenities you would expect: Wi-Fi, cable TV, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and updated bathroom with a great shower head.

The hotel was conveniently located next to the freeway but the rooms were still fairly quiet. The heating system worked EXACTLY as it should which is rare amongst this class of motel/hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly
