Attention!!! We were deceived. The room was described as a room with a sea view, we found a room with bars in the windows that looked like a prison cell. We were afraid for our safety. The hotel staff reacted very aggressively to attempts to explain the situation. They told us to leave the room in the middle of the night and took our money! The case was reported on booking. Attention!!

We picked this motel because of the location. It is conventient distance to bars, restaurants, beach, and boat docks. The price was attractive. But there are 3 different small Inns and motels in this little strip of Sunset Beach.
The motel was convenient and affordable for the Surf City Half Marathon. The room looked recently updated, nice, not five star fancy, but I didn't need fancy for a pre-run, one night stay, just, safe, clean, with basic amenities. It met those requirements. My room had a microwave and mini fridge, always a plus. The staff I met were pleasant. I would stay here again.
