Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
I liked how close it was to everything. The bed was really nice, it was a cute little property. Also that I could book at 18, other hotels I could I had to be 21+. The only other places that I could have, were sketchy motels that were practically the same price. So it was nice I could get a hotel in a clean safe area. The lady who was cleaning rooms who I talked to was also super helpful when I had a few questions.
Clean, updated for date of motel. Surprisingly roomy with small kitchenette & 2 queen beds. 1 block off main drag & 50 ft from start of hiking trail & auto trail through park. Quiet!
No maid service. Motel room floors were stained throughout. Motel didn't have a attendant when needed only a phone number in case of emergency. No phone in room. Cups in bathroom not individually wrapped, just sitting out exposed. The TV streamed stations weren't coming through until you sit and wait about 10 to 15 minutes.
Loved the charm of this little motel! Our room 11 was horse/lucky themed. The coffee was good and we felt safe there. Andie was also so helpful in checking us in early and getting us what we needed!!
Rooms clean and uncluttered. Hard floors vs. carpeting always a good choice. For a motel (outdoor only entrances with stairs no elevator), there were lots of accessible points to get to where you wanted to go. Breezways, lots of staircases etc
Staff was intentionally friendly and unbothered.
I booked my appointment online when I got there they said they canceled it cause they didn’t charge me enough. So I left went to another motel that was more professional and instead of canceling the first motel charged me again and I never even stayed there still waiting for a refund. The personal were very unprofessional and unclean. The building was clean.
Older motel right at the entrance to the National Park. Walking distance to bathhouses and shops. The staff is awesome and caring. This was my 4th time staying there. Comfy beds and no exterior noise. Will always stay there. Very reasonable prices and CLEAN
The staff were wonderful and helpful, location was good, just off the main road so a little quieter, and the facilities were great. It's a very lovingly restored retro motel with nice touches like a station to wash your crystals and they left out flashlights as there was a power cut due to a storm
