I had call to let y'all know we were having car troubles. The lady said that was fine. I mentioned it would be like 11-12 hrs before we made it. So 12 midnight we arrived at the motel, no place to park ready to get some rest... I ask about my reservation and what do you know ... I didn't have one on file, I have the confirmation number on my phone ready to show. Finally finds it and it's cancelled. So we slept at the flying jay for a couple nights. That sucked
It was easy to find right off the highway and the doors were inside the building not outside like many more affordable motels. It was fine for an overnight stay to get some rest of the road and the price was right.
This motel is in a good location. The room is big with a great shower that had plenty of hot water. There is a guest laundry and it was excellent. The room was clean, it had a clock and it had extra blankets. The receptionists were excellent.
