Looking for a motel?
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.

I love the character and history associated with staying in this quaint place. Also, the owner, Frank, is so friendly and obviously enjoys having guests. He makes sure that you are comfortable. The location of the motel is right downtown making it the perfect place to enjoy Fort Scott’s adorable downtown shops, quaint restaurants, and the old fort. Also, it has easy access to Highway 54 and 69.

This is an old motel but is in decent shape. It's right on the main street through town, and heading west in the morning I got to the cute historic downtown, which had a nice coffee shop. The price was extremely low, which was why I took a chance on it. The room was in decent shape as regards TV, bathroom fixtures, etc. and was clean aside from...(see below).
