The large balcony and the view! We also were able to leave our vehicle before check in so we could walk to the trolley tour, which we really appreciate.
Parkside Inn is situated in Ellison Bay. All rooms boast a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Free WiFi is included. Guest rooms at the motel are fitted with a seating area.
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
This was absolutely the cleanest motel room I have ever stayed in. In addition, it was decorated so cute and homey I loved the wood wall, matching sofa, & chairs. The added addition of the doggy leash holder was unexpected and helped with the homey feeling too. The ipad in the room was a neat up-to-date feature as well. What a smart use of technology to provide information.
It was quiet. clean and relatively spacious. The location on Main street was superb. The center of town started 1 block from the motel and the lake was as close in the opposite direction. Fish Creek is well located to serve as a base for exploration of the peninsula by car.
Just a beautiful location off the main business district. If was 2 blocks from the water. Rooms were very clean, it was quiet, everyone associated with motel was friendly.
My family and I have stayed here every summer for the past three years in a row and won't consider staying anywhere else in Door County. The motel is super clean, perfectly located, and has the most amazing and considerate owners/management, who are always willing to help. The beds are very comfortable and plenty of pillows are provided. Also, it is always quiet and peaceful here, whether at night or during the day. Excellent value for the area.
The Main Street Motel may be the best value lodging option in Fish Creek. It is in a quiet location on the west end of Fish Creek. It is close to some good restaurants like the White Gull Inn and Barringer's, but requires a manageable walk to others such as Julie's Park Cafe for breakfast. The staff is very welcoming and ready with travel and dining tips.
