Wow, for a basic motel the rooms were huge, loved the queen beds across from each other. Amazed that they were top notch mattresses!
Breakfast was amazing, huge variety. Both the late night staff checking us in and the 2 fun ladies dressed up running the front in the morning were happy a d engaging.
The location was excellent. It is between the Chena River and old town Fairbanks. Lots of free parking when we got our car. The breakfast was excellent. Lots to choose from.
Loved Sven's basecamp, nice and chilled with friendly staff and a good coffee shop.
Sven is a really interesting guy and is super helpful and friendly.
It's a little out of the way if you don't have a vehicle but it's easy to get an uber.

The breakfast was generous for a continental style with fresh muffins and good coffee. The rooms were very clean and there were solid black out curtains. Just a solid family owned hotel in a city of over priced chains.
