Location was easily accessible into Nyack. And right off the freeway.
This motel offers rooms with microwaves and refrigerators. The motel has a 24-hour front desk and is 2 miles from the Stony Point Battlefield State Historic Site.
Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
The location is great, however, it felt like a transient motel. The evening front desk person was very pleasant and efficient, but the transaction seemed to me, like it was done behind bulletproof glass, not really comforting. The door of the room seemed like it might have been forced open a few times, and the window had a large crack in it. I was concerned for my car, even though it was right outside my window.
Most of the staff is absolutely amazing! And just because of them, that's the reason I keep coming back to this specific motel. My room is always clean and I hardly ever have any complaints, and the one time I did they resolved the problem asap!
Although everything went well and it was a clean place, it just looked and felt like a bare bones/emergency motel. I should have dpne better research. So, ok, as in high 5/10.
If you are looking for a something better then a motel with very clean rooms and friendly staff, than you will love this place. Front desk was super helpful and room was very neat and clean. Good value for the buck.
Place needs major updating. Plaster on the walls. Uneven floors. Bed bugs in room. The hotel is a dump. Motel 6 should be ashamed that this place has its name on it. All the roo.s need updating. And the heat was not working I. One room. This is unacceptable. The staff was very nice. That's the only bright spot.
