Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
The rooms were very nice, sheets were soft, bed was comfy. Only downside to the Limelight was lack of tv stations and outside first appearance looks like a motel. But the breakfast service was awesome and all gave a very comfortable stay
Location worked for us, but was way too far out to walk to Historic Square. Staff was Nice. Old Motel but they appear to be doing some remodeling. Our room was clean. Bed was comfortable enough. Thankfully NO Carpet. Quiet on the backside where our room was located. We had king bed, refrig, microwave and couch. 2 nights on weekend in December was total of $323.20. Considering HI Express on Square was over $400.00 a night.......we were pleased with Dahlonega Mountain In .
The bed itself was comfortable to sleep on. The motel was convenient to the McDonald's next door, which was good because they did not have so much as a cup of coffee, let alone a breakfast as they advertised on their site.
I did enjoy the flowers and plants someone had planted all around the premises.
Every thing about this motel was great. Booking.com screwed up big time. I called and ask that we need to stay 3 nights instead of one. I got an e-mail saying they could not get us 3 nights. When we got to the motel I ask about about the three nights and was told there would have been no problem. I had to pay for Fri. and Sat out of my pocket at a lot higher rate, because booking.com did not do as I ask and book us for Fri Sat. nights I will not be using booking.com in the future.
First, the motel was modestly priced. The reviews said it was rated "good". Check-in went smoothly. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was large and well lit. The shower was very comfortable, with plenty of hot water. Breakfast included everything we wanted. Cereals, waffles, juices, microwaveable omelettes, muffins, etc. This motel was exceptional for the mid range price. We would definitely stay again when in this area.
Staff was very nice, felt as if we was family! Also love the pool and breakfast was great! Alot of hotels/motels dont do breakfast so it was very nice to know they had it!!
