The Motel is very close to Whitecap Beach, and staff were very friendly. and the room was spacious enough to accommodate the family,it has full size fridge and large shower
The room was clean, cool and comfy. The restaurant connected to the motel served us cold dinner. Fajitas were cold, beans were cold, tortillas were room temp. It was not good at all.
The cleanliness of the rooms! The facility was quiet. The pool was CLEAN! The night receptionist put my restaurant food in the refrigerator, since my room did not have one.
I actually left a previous hotel, due to a bad experience, and booked a last minute booking with Motel 6. I was fortunate, bc it was a holiday weekend!
Coffee was fresh and hot, and above average. Price for this room while not cheap by area standards it was fair. Didnot have to make a deposit against damage to the room as in other island motels. The location was convenient to Padre Island National Seashore and the National Park as this was our reason for visiting.
We loved being right on the water. We had a small balcony which we enjoyed very much. We were able to walk to the USS Lexington, which was a bonus. We had a great meal at Blackbeard's On the Beach that was right next door to the motel.
Your facility and our room were clean, nice and comfortable. The pool was nice. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented. It was so nice to have washer/drier facilities available. We have been on the road long enough it was a perfect time to freshen up some things. There were several restaurants nearby, but we recommend you try El Potro just behind the hotel. It is a family run Mexican style place and we found the food to be quite good.
