Perfect location (especially to the apple orchards), comfortable beds, great water pressure. I was pleasantly surprised with the room after reading all the reviews. Yes, the room and double beds are small but it was comfortable enough for my family of four. The double bed slept me, my husband and toddler just fine! Lady at front desk was very nice and had a nice conversation with me and my daughter at check in. Rooms are super quiet, I couldn’t hear my car beep when I locked it from inside the room (I was parked right outside my door and my lock alarm is LOUD). If we’re ever back in the area, we will be staying again! :)
Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
I like the design of the rooms. They do not look like cookie cutter hotel rooms, instead they look like a guestroom at someone's house. Parking was available, and the motel was quiet that night.
Loved the outdoor space and fire pit although we didn't make it to movie night I really enjoyed the community ( hostel ish) atmosphere. Very unique and a pleasant departure from vookie cutter hotels/ motels
The cleanness of the room, linens and bathroom was the best. Being a very pet friendly motel, I wasn't expecting feeling so comfortable and I am kinda of a clean freak.
For this to be a Motel. It was cleaned. The sheets were cleaned without any stains. The bathroom was also cleaned. The only thing was the room had a smell but the room was nice for the price. The stuff was very nice and friendly, they made sure you as a guest were very comfortable. This was our 1st time visiting Blue Ridge. We enjoyed ourselves. Thanks Susan at the front desk for your kindness.
Our room faced a lovely green space out back with picnic tables and a fire pit. The motel is being redone and everyone was very nice. Microwave, coffee maker and fridge in room were nice to have.
I requested a non-smoking room. We had to go buy air freshener and fabric spray to sleep in the room. It was not a handicapped room. The continental breakfast was a nice attempt, however, we went to waffle house. The young lady behind the counter/serving breakfast buffet tried, but her child (somewhere in the office?) kept crying, so she was unable to focus on motel duties. This property has a lot of issues to work out.
Very nice facility and staff. It’s an older hotel /motel but you can tell the owner has pride and is fixing it up and making modern. Great location, quite and peaceful .
