Looking for a motel?
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.

The motel rooms had been recently renovated with new beds, TV, paint, etc.. My room was on the back of the building, so seperated from any road noise or commotion in the meeting room. Parking space was adequate, however on the back of the building it seemed a bit scary back there. Check-in was completed along with a pre-inspection of the room before signing the paperwork. I was looking for a cheap hotel and I found it here.

The bed was very comfortable, and the bedding was really plush. The floor was vinyl plank, something that other motel/hotels should consider in lieu of carpeting in my opinion. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Traditional motel, practical, functional, clean, comfortable bed, nice location on the edge of town that's rural yet close to the university.

We loved being there. So much nicer than a motel/hotel. The folks were gentle and lovely. The courtyard looked sweet. It was quiet all night. And mostly it felt lovely to be there. I’d go back in a heartbeat! Breakfast was meager but the omelet man made perfect eggs! Oh! The coffee was great. Many thanks to all!

I like the idea of the vintage but updated motel-type experience and they have a great start. The room was nice size but smelled a bit of old socks. The old counter and bathroom facet was very cool. Overall, it could just use some upkeep and maintenance. The old dresser was also a very nice piece. The linens and pillow were great! The mattress was old spring style which is fine but a bit worn. The staff was pleasant.
