It was a very nice continental breakfast. The little pastries were tasty and fun to have the variety. The location of the motel is perfect for enjoying Bandon Old Town by foot. It is always nice to go out for a meal and stroll back to your lodgings.
After staying the night before in an adequate but dated motel, the Lighthouse was a more than pleasant surprise. It appears the new owners put some money into the place because the room was newly remodeled! I definitely would recommend and stay at the Lighthouse again.
The La Kris Inn is a quirky older place right on Highway 101, with an updated-yet-kitschy decor, really cute. The highway is busy but the motel was surprisingly quiet. The host was helpful with suggestions and responsive to our issue. The bed was comfortable and temp control was fine.
Beautiful view of the ocean, spacious and comfortable room, good parking, easy access to the historic center. I particularly liked the direct beach access close to the motel. The room had a fridge, dishwasher, stovetop, sink, plates, cutlery-- we were able to enjoy breakfast and happy hour easily in our room.
Very cute little motel. Loved the theming of everything (our room was bird-themed). Had a little bit of trouble getting the check-in code, but I think it was because I didn't have great reception, and online support was quick and helpful. Would stay here again if I needed to.
