Looking for a motel?
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.

The location was excellent. The staff was friendly and responsive, cheerfully answering our questions about where to eat, what to do, etc. The updated shower in our bathroom was very nice. Everything was very clean, although the motel building is older and appears dated from the outside. Breakfast was freshly prepared scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and a variety of packaged goods.

Cleanest motel I've ever stayed in and I travel all over from here to Roseburg. Wish they served breakfast but had perfect coffee station and snacks on office. Love the train grew up next to it so absolutely was so happy to be so close decent view too.

it is very old and needs some remodeling. This motel is in my hometown of Baker and has been there since I was a child.

It was an inexpensive, older motel. It was clean, though dated. The pillows were a little flat, but the bed was very comfortable, which for me covers a myriad of negatives. Staff was nice. There was a train track across the street, but it didn't bother me or wake me up.

Great breakfast next door at the restaurant. Motel was very quiet considering how full it was. Motel was clean and comfortable with a decent bed at an excellent price. Nothing fancy but it fit my budget and was perfectly acceptable.

Quite honestly the most friendly, charming employees. So helpful, kind, and welcoming. We are a family that road trips a lot, and always stay in mid value best western/travelodge places. We are not motel people, but having stayed at the Oregon trail motel we may have been converted. It was cosy and clean, and the laundry facilities were great. Breakfast coupons at the adjoining restaurant were a major bonus and the staff there were equally fantastic. If we ever find ourselves in Baker City again we shall certainly be back.

This is a quiet, shady location close to downtown shops and restaurants. It is an easy on-off I 84 if you are traveling. It is an older motel with a really different layout of 4 small units down a hall that you access from the outside. The units are really clean. They are friendly to dogs. Parking is good but might be tight for rv's. The breakfast is better than most.

This motel is special. I booked a room because it fit my schedule while on a road trip, with price and location playing the most important part. Although this place seems old, everything is kept in excellent condition. It’s very clean and comfortable, and the attention to all the details is apparent. A lovely bonus is that breakfast is served at the restaurant next door with a voucher they give you upon check-in. The check-in process is very "analog" - with a written receipt and a real key to your door, which I really like.
