Location was perfect, right next to some excellent beaches and restaurants. Room was a little dated but clean. We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The beds are amazing! We loved the layout of the room and the extra touches (like the ceiling) that made it quaint and cozy and not like a basic hotel room! The location is fantastic! We loved being so close to the ocean and being able to see the lighthouse glow at night!

The facility did not provide clothes hangers and it did not have washing/dryer. The rest were just perfect. We enjoyed a lot.
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
The location was great. It was a short walk to the beach. The motel was pretty much what we expected for an older building very near the beach. Linens were clean and everything was pretty functional.
Avon motel and Avon cottages have always been my favorite place to stay on the island. Affordable accomdations, nothing fancy, but the most relaxed atmosphere and beachy vibe of any place I've stayed at.
The staff has always been friendly too.

This motel is everything you need. It’s not 5 star luxury or anything but it’s the beach, how much time are you really in a room? We had 4 adults in the deluxe queen suite and were very comfortable. Plenty of space. We stay here frequently and always have a pleasant time. And the staff is friendly.
Very friendly staff, they make you feel welcome and like family. Everything was neat and clean. The AC was crisp and very cold. I absolutely love the Avon Motel, I highly recommend. I will see you all in 2024.
Great location in the middle of town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Plenty of well lit parking in front of each unit We have a home in Avon that is rented out all summer so we like to stay at the Avon Motel when we come down in season.
Easy check in check out. Accommodating, super clean! It was a really cute and quaint motel. We usually travel to the mountains and it reminded me of a little mountain cabin at the beach. It's not the Ritz, but we liked that about this place. Perfect place to lay our heads before a full day of summer fun.
