At 7pm room wasn't ready.coffee machine had no filte,r offee or cups.
The bathroom had 1 towel. King superior room had 2 tiny pillows. And no phone in the room .thus had to go to 3 flights down and was told .maintenance will be back at 8 am. I can come down to get coffee. I dont blame the staff they seem overwhelmed and understaffed. Very disappointed in the overall experience. The bar was not set high. The hotel is small, but the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are clean. The rates are very reasonable. There is no breakfast available at the hotel, but Smithville Village is next door and has shops and restaurants. The Bakery at Smithville Village serves breakfast. I have had the best omlette I ever tasted at the Bakery. The eggs taste fresh and the omeltte is seasoned perfectly with onions and peppers.

There really wasn’t much to like other than location. I was able to get to where I needed to/get ready and leave.

Motel was one block from the boardwalk, so it was a good location, right across the street from the Tropicana Casino. The young lady at check-in was very nice. The air conditioning was nice and cold. Beds were surprisingly comfortable
It was close to the venue I need to go to. And the staff from evening and morning check in and out were the nicest and friendliest men. They both helped out so much and made my stay very comfortable. I had a bad experience with another motel there which made me come to this one. And I must say I didnt regret it at all. I will most definitely come back the next time I got to NJ
