My room was perfect for a short stay. You can see the retro hotel it used to be, but it has been thoroughly refinished and added to. The furniture was function not fancy and that was ok. The in-room amenities were good. Everything was clean, in great condition and understated in a good way.

We stayed here for a night, but realized our new house wasn't ready for us to move in so we checked back in for another night. The first night, the room we had was updated and the bed was sooo comfy. The 2nd night we were in an older room that was tired looking and the mattress was saggy and barely useable. The staff were quite nice and the rooms have everything you need to make a quick bite if you don't want to eat out. Overall I would highly recommend the place IF you can get one of the more modern rooms.
Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
The room was small, but clean. Perfectly adequate for my needs. Communication with the motel was excellent. I forgot a few items in the refrigerator. I texted the motel to ask them to hold them for me, and I was able to pick them up on my way back home.
It was extremely easy to check in, even late at night. I am a neat freak and I can say our room was very clean. The bed was also very comfortable. The motel also offered items such as toothpaste upon request, so that was extremely helpful.
Reasonable driving distance from the Door County area. Very convenient location!
This was easily one of the best hotels/motels I've ever stayed at when it comes to no frills, cleanliness and value. The room was impeccably clean, nicely appointed and the check-in/check-out process couldn't be easier. We chose this motel for our trip to Door County based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. Although it was on the furthest south tip of Door County, it was perfect for our trip. I couldn't recommend this place more.
The location was clean, quiet and convenient! The motel appereared to be newly updated and on trend. I love the color of the walls and simplicity of the room. It had just what we needed.
The location is awesome, right on Lake Michigan with easy access to restaurants & local attractions in Algoma. Free Continental Breakfast is offered with coffee (that is okay) & juice, instant oatmeal, & packaged muffins & cinnamon rolls. Fire pits are located between the motel & beach but firewood is only available at an extra cost. The staff was nice & accommodating.
This is a pretty basic motel, but spotlessly clean. Shower water pressure was excellent. Check-in was contactless and easy. Vending Machine available in lobby. Room small. but had everything you might need.
Location, ease of checking in, room was perfect for our stay. They have done an awesome job of keeping up this motel and updating it. Super cute, reminds me of my childhood. Super clean and well kept
