I accidentally left my cell phone in the cabin. The owner was very helpful getting it and keeping it safe till I could get back to get back to pick itup. I would recommend the motel.
For an older smaller motel it was extremely clean! The staff were great - very friendly. It’s a basic motel but the beds were very comfortable. The room was so clean - you can tell the ladies that are doing the housekeeping actually put in the effort to do a good job. Location was great - didn’t have to drive at all. Very close walking distance to the Uncle Sam boat tours. Close to lots of restaurants and the shops on the Main Street. Very pleased with our stay and would stay here again.
Cute and nostalgic motel with a great balcony. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Chill vibe with a fantastic location--within walking distance of everything, but off the street so kind of private too.
The staff was friendly and helpful .Great location ,walking distance to many shops ,fishing and boat tours.and a lots of restaurants to choose from.we would definitely stay at The Shio Motel again !
This was a very clean and quiet motel. Even though it looks like an old road-side motel from the 60's, this motel has all of the same features of a newer motel. Staying 3 minutes, by car, away from downtown Alexandria Bay gives you a nice break from the noise of the stores and tourists. I would stay here again!
Quaint motel with close proximity to dining, shops, bars and piers. Chairs outside each room. Friendly staff.
We were there at the time of the eclipse, and enjoyed our vist.
Well to start property was nice but I had 2 room that were confirmed to be in same floor and when checked in they were not even remotely close to being on same floor also had requested and was confirmed to be on waters edge instead I had both room looking at the nasty stagnant marina inlet
