Staff were very friendly and helpful. No meals supplied but there are a couple of close-by convenience stores with hot food, cold drinks, and breakfast supplies. The room had a fridge and microwave to make it practical to prepare simple meals.
This is an older motel-style hotel but the rooms have been extensively updated.
Much cheaper than in San Francisco but only a few stations away on the BART which is a short walk away, and free buses circulate around Oakland, including to the Amtrak station.
Just off Highway 880, this motel is one mile from the Oracle Arena & Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, home of the Oakland Raiders. It offers free WiFi.

This is not the first time that I stay in this place, I really like it, is old but cozy, very clean and very comfortable, the location in Alameda is great, and this time they give us a room that had a living room, was like a little apartment. I'm very satisfied every time with this place. The fact that makes me choose this motel too, is that this is one of the only motels around in it's price range that have kitchen, for me this is determinat cos I prefer to cook my own food.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the location was great. The beach 5 min walk (if that) from motel. The price was great though a little dated on the decor it was a decent size. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will coming back soon!
Make no mistake, this is an old Alameda motel, and is not a 4-star property. That said, it is clean, the shower works, there is plenty of hot water, the toilet flushes and the room was fairly large. The price reflects the place, and it is across the street from the large South Shore Shopping Center. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We have stayed in a lot worse places for a lot more money. Thumbs Up.
