Americas Best Value Inn Augusta Historic Downtown, hotel in Aiken

Augusta Museum of History and Imperial Theatre are within an 8-minute walk of this motel, which features an outdoor pool. The spacious rooms at Augusta Budget Inn offer cable TV with HBO.

The website doesn’t give pictures or evidence of how the place really is. It has regular tenants that sleep there every night along with inappropriate activities happening in the nighttime. This place is disgusting. The beds have bedbugs. The bathroom smells like poop that when the door is open, smells up the rest of the room. I was told that I couldn’t have a key to the room because the repair guy has not come today to repair the lock. So I would have to lock the door inside and I should be safe and if I leave the room the front desk will unlock it for me. I had my elderly parents with me in that place was gross negligence!

Breakfast was fine. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was fine. My complaints are it was a glorified motel, and the room was in need of many renovations. Also the parking area immediately outside my room was very noisy all night long. The bottom line is that there was little "Quality" in this Quality Inn!
