We stayed as we exited Tahiti a taxi to motel. It is up a hill and google maps provides a misleading location. We easily walked to the airport downhill towing our bags. Walk took about 10 minutes for a 4am flight . It is not flash but is functional. Hallways musty but bathroom was clean and linen fresh
I booked it as we were travelling from Tahiti airport in the early hours of the morning. However, the location was up a steep hill. The staff were helpful and the motel was clean and reasonably priced
I was very pleasantly surprised by our stay at Tahiti Airport Motel. For the cost and location, our room was clean and provided a perfect place to crash for a night. Having a breakfast downstairs (optional cost) was a huge plus also. Staff were also very helpful, answering any questions we had and providing us with a good tip for booking a ferry ride.
Room: Decent size for 2
Location: We were able to walk to the motel from Papeete airport. You just need to go up a few stairs and a hill.
Staff: They helped us with arranging a taxi to the ferry station which ran us ~$30 USD
I'm sure there's a reason this is a motel category but in the room you can feel like in nice hotel. The bed is huge and comfortable and the view through a big window is spectacular. Distance to the airport is ok and even with backpacks we were able to walk it.
