Had booked a ground floor apartment so no views (to be expected and were offered one with views but facing the road so opted to keep the one booked) but very quiet in any event. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Facilities and space were great including full size dining table and fridge. Quick walk to everything. Owner was great

Stayed one night and the motel was a fairly regular NZ motel, but in a great spot. The view from the room was across the beach, and it was very comfortable. Check in was quick and friendly.

It has everything a Motel should have: nice linens, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with great water pressure, adequate kitchen, decent internet, great view from the balcony, fabulous service and staff and a friendly welcome! I watched the proprietor clean the pool every morning and "put it to bed" in the evenings. The owners are clearly conscientious and interested in their new investment!

Location is fantastic- just minutes to the beach and local shops. Beautiful decorated with quality finishes and designed for maximum comfort of guests with a luxury spa feel. Lovely outside space with gorgeous plants and flowers. Coffee shop with tasty treats just steps away. Everything is very tastefully done.

Great little spot, super host. The rooms remind me of my grandmother's house, so feels more like a little house than a 'hotel room'. Fully equipped with all you need to self cater, and can use the BBQ, we were on the ground with friends next door and used the outdoor furniture a lot. Awesome to have your own washing machine - real bonus! Across the road from the water and a short stroll to cafes and restaurants on the boardwalk. Great value, will stay again.

This beautiful motel is perfect for all... Just across the road from the most beautiful scenic harbour where kids can swim and adults can sit in the sun and at night you can watch the fish jumping in and out of the water.

I was so impressed with this motel for the price I paid I was expecting something pretty average but wow it exceeded my expectations. Huge rooms. Incredible views. Greeted with a smile.
Kitchen and amenities were really helpful as there is not many shops around.
