The View from the room is awesome and the small walk down the hill to the boat club gave a great diner and a few nice beers. Very peacefull and quiet.

Excellent location to visit Cape Reinga, Tapotupotu bay, Te Paki coastal trail and Te Paki sand dunes. We stopped at Rawara beach and drove out to 90 mile beach as well. Easy drive to see the north. We were within walking distance to a grocery store and several eateries. The place was clean and we appreciated Daniel’s recommendations and kindness.

The motel is very clean and tidy with an amazing view of the Mangonui Harbour. There is a walking track next to the motel that leads down to cafes, pub and supermarket. Whenever we head up that way we always stay at Mangonui Motel.

This beautiful motel is perfect for all... Just across the road from the most beautiful scenic harbour where kids can swim and adults can sit in the sun and at night you can watch the fish jumping in and out of the water.

I was so impressed with this motel for the price I paid I was expecting something pretty average but wow it exceeded my expectations. Huge rooms. Incredible views. Greeted with a smile.
