Central location in Twizel. Heater in the room did well to heat up the room quickly.
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
The motel room was basic, but had everything we needed, including a small shower and kitchenette. The size of the room was generous and it was good value for money.
We chose to stay here rather than at Mount Cook because of the cost saving. The day-trip to Mount Cook was excellent.
There was a small supermarket within walking distance of the motel which provided us with our dinner needs.
The room had all the facilities we needed and was well heated (The temperature was -4 degrees Celsius one morning).
