Novelty for our family were the trains passing, minimal sound, no trains through the evening until morning.
The motel was conveniently located near Takapu Rd station, making day trips into Wellington easy. The room was big enough for our family, including two energetic kids. The best feature was the staff, who were unfailingly pleasant and helpful.
