It was comfortable and close to everything we wanted to do on the Coromandel. The town of Tairua is a short walk away along the harbor. The staff at the hotel are helpful and friendly. The kitchenette was perfect for small breakfasts in our room.

Really sweet little cottages equipped with everything for a comfortable stay. Super clean with good quality bed linen. Breakfast was continental and had been placed in the room. The setting was perfect and our cabin was very private. The check in was easy and the attendant very helpful. Parking was right next to our cabin and the deck was lovely to sit out on. We stayed one night but wish we’d had longer. Easy walk to local beach which is stunning. Cafe and shops in town were excellent.

Had an amazing stay at South Pacific Motel with amazing hosts. There were issues with the change in our dates but those were worked out promptly. Hosts were amazing and we even got a room upgrade. We had a kayaking trip on the day of the checkout and we were allowed a late checkout so we could come back and shower before setting out.

The Motel is very quiet, and behind the windows is a lake. The landlord is very warm and friendly, and lent us a shovel for Hot Water Beach. The room is very clean and tidy, we enjoyed the stay!

This is a clean, comfortable, well priced motel. We had a nice view, and spacious room! Despite nearby noise, it probably rated the best bang-for-buck accommodation we found on the Coromandel Peninsula.

The unit was very comfortable. We liked our proximity to the boardwalk at the back entrance of the motel. We used this route to walk to and from town. The staff were very helpful, when we needed to borrow an umbrella. We liked the private patio too, with a water feature.
