The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
We received a warm welcome from Lesley who told us she turned on our heating so the rooms were cosy and warm. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is handy - just a 10 minutes walk to the main shopping street. We were there for our wedding, and received a lovely gift of bubbles in our room after the big day. A big thank you to Gladstone Motel.
We had booked an ensuite motel unit but were upgraded to 1 bedroom unit which was bordering the main state highway 6 but fortunately the windows facing this was double glazed. About a 15 minute walk to the Richmond mall and town centre.
Location was a short trip by car to everywhere in Richmond, short walking distance to some good restaurants and good coffee. Cabin was cozy but had everything we needed. Loved the amenities on site, the exercise room with the massage chairs got a lot of use!
Handy location, we could walk to town and was close to the Taste cycle Trail. The motel was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
location was spot on. Stayed here for a night, before going on abel tasman hike. Bus stop right outside motel,so didnt have to walk far. It had everything i needed for my stay
The room was very clean and comfortable. Although we were on a busy road, we didn’t hear traffic noise. The pool looked inviting though we didn’t have time to enjoy it. The motel backed up to a soccer field and the great taste trail which gave us a lovely morning walk. The manager provided us with fresh milk for our coffee in the morning.
Perfect location with a feeling of security. A great outdoor living area if needed. I was very happy when I opened the door as I was expecting a motel cabin but found a homely little cottage.
