Great location in the center of Wanaka. We did not need to drive at all after we arrived to explore the town. Everything we needed or wanted was within walking distance. We were placed in a unit on the second floor. The doors into the room are glass sliding doors, but as a result, we had a beautiful view of the lake & surrounding mountains throughout the day (esp during sunset).
We appreciated that there was a laundry facility on site. They only accept coins, but was priced reasonably in comparison to other places we saw on our trip and you can exchange cash for coins at reception. Detergent was also provided. They also made late check in super easy.

Location is great, about a five minute walk from town (including supermarket). Short drive to Cardrona ski field. Lovely and warm inside despite it being below freezing outside - although there was quite a bit of condensation on the windows in the morning.
Shower was surprisingly good, with good pressure and temperature. There was enough hot water for four adults' consecutive showers. A welcome surprise after experience with showers at other motels.
Beds were fine, no complaints but nothing special.
Woke up in the morning to see that someone (presumably staff at the motel) had put a towel over our car's windscreen overnight, which meant that the windscreen wasn't frosted over in the morning. A nice little touch that was very much appreciated!

The room was exactly as promised in the photos; clean, cosy, and quaint. The lodge complex was huge and had lots of communal facilities. We enjoyed using the lounge with fireplace and outdoor hot tub. It had an all round charming aesthetic that felt like being invited into someones home (with plenty of privacy). Staff were excellent and showed us to our room when we arrived. The location was good and is pretty much in the centre of the town. Free parking as well. Highly recommended!
The lovely lady who checked me in on arrival, such a welcoming soul. So friendly, helpful -when talking about my ski trip,most motel owners I've come across do not even engage in conversation, just a quick run down.. but she was genuinely so lovely. Even at 6pm, Thank you, hope to stay again ❤️
We really enjoyed our stay in Wanaka at Fairway Motel. Our apartment was very spacious and well organised. Perfect for our family with two young kids. The staff was friendly and very responsive. It is also a short ride from the center of Wanaka which makes it ideal to explore the area. We definitely recommend it.
The room was very clean, well kept, new, and had everything we could’ve asked for and more. The owners are really nice and friendly, Mark offered to have us check out a little late upon hearing that my partner was running a high fever. We had an exceptional stay at Archway Motel & Chalet, 100% recommended.
A newly furnished motel room in a good location. The accommodation was roomy and free parking was perfect.. We were given a very friendly reception on arrival. Strongly recommended.
The bella vista are a chain motel so you get what it says on the "can!" Clean and comfortable.The purpose of our visit was to go Christmas shopping so the motel was perfectly placed in the centre of town with free parking. The relief managers Sue and Craig were very friendly and helpful.
