Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
its a motel. no more no less. chased a cockroach around the room, then mosquitos, staff indifferent, noisy tenants. everything you expect of a cheap motel except its expensive, but then its Waiheke. I last stayed there 24 years ago.
Cute little motel. The location was super easy to get to via the bus from the ferry. Lady who checked me in was super lovely and helpful! Cabin was basic but comfortable and all I needed :)
Very easy to get to the main beaches and restaurants on the local bus.
I stayed in room 14, which is the original building. It was comfortable and clean and got the morning sun.
The staff are friendly and helpful. It was nice and relaxing with the spa and pool facilities at the end of the day.
It is handy having the supermarket, eating places and bus stops all in walking distance.
I like that the motel is environmentally responsible and loved the bed linen they use.
Overall I had a enjoyable stay.
