nothing went well I did not end up staying the unit they had put me in had no sink or any where to put our clothes. l then went back to o office .They then gave me another unit. This unit was dirty.i made my self a cup of coffee I had to wash the cup first as it was badly stained. Then I thought I would have a wine the glass you could not see through it . I then l
looked at the blankets on the bed they needed a wash I.then went to the office said we would not be staying they would not refund my money back as I had paid on line. We then went to another motel .we stayed at the Gold mine motel which was nice and clean . I was staying in Waihi as it was my mothers Funeral .

Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
The hotel was a real surprise
Well proportioned room with an excellent bathroom, certainly so much better than many similar hotels and motels
The investment in the property is obvious
Motel very comfortable bed and seating with East to access basic Freeview TV which is all we needed. Enough cooking gear- pots. microwave, stove top, crockery znd cutlery.
Quiet nights - ( not many guests though yet so could have been lucky).. Beautiful bush outlook and walks to pools etc.
We liked all that was presented from this motel. very good. It was so very handy to all the activities we were intending to do whilst staying at Katikati.
As indicated above, this motel is wonderful, lovely staff, beautiful grounds, lovely presented rooms, good size rooms, great parking BUT if the mattress is cheap/old and uncomfortable then all the lovely and wonderful things are not worth the stay.
Helpful staff worked with me for my late arrival. Comfortable motel.
