The unit was very spacious and comfortable and was perched atop a hill overlooking the ocean in the distance.
It was very conveniently located near Tasman Abel National Park. The hot tubs and heated pool were a bonus.
There were also some interesting short hikes on the property, including some glow worms during a night walk.

Owner was very sweet and knowledgeable about the area. The private cabin was very clean and had extra blankets and heater as we got into fall season it was getting a little cold overnight. Very close to the Abel Tasman park so that was convenient for our hikes and boat excursions.
Nautilus Lodge is surrounded by Motueka's cafés, restaurants and shops. A flat-screen TV with over 50 satellite channels and a DVD/CD player are included in every room.

Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.

Nothing at all. Worst place we have ever stayed. Almost everything about the place is not as described on Booking.com website and I recommend that you remove the advertisement as the property is not even remotely as described and all the good comments are obviously written by the owner Paul
Excellent location within walking distance to the beach. Lovely quiet separate motel units that were super clean and had everything we needed. Booked later in the day and the heating was already on when we arrived. Comfy bed. You have to go to the beach for the amazing sunrise in the morning.
Everything was great. Great location, great views, great rooms, clean and with the most comfortable bed we have ever had in a motel/hotel! Friendly, helpful and efficient hosts…thank you 😊
The room and view was amazing, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the bed was extremely comfortable. The motel also offered free use of boogie boards, kayaks and beach towels
