Our motel room was very basic but this was just a sleep stop so it was what we expected. Great views over the mountains and of the sunset.

This little motel is a bit off the beaten path, just down the road from the small town of Haast. The staff got us quickly checked-in and directed us towards a place to eat. In the morning we were able to go to the private beach and take a nice walk before checking-out. I wish we would have had a bit more time to relax.

The beds and bed linings are with high quality (probably the best among the motels we have stayed so far which justified the price) comfortable and beautiful.

Haast Beach Motel was functional and spacious. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There were also free snacks which were appreciated. Our room was only a one minute walk away from a fabulous beach - It was great hearing the crashing waves at night. There is not much accommodation in the area and we were perfectly happy staying here.

Basic motel rooms, in a beautiful location. There is an RV park out front. The motel is not very inspiring, but it doesn't purport to be anything else. Rooms were comfortable and clean. There is no restaurant or food on site; there are two restaurants within 1 km.

This was a great stop in an extremely remote area. Considering the remoteness of the area this motel offered such great facilities. The room had almost all the necessary amenities. And it was very spacious and my family of 5 was very comfortable and satisfied. There was a super game room which was really cool. My kids enjoyed it alot even very late duting the night. I stopped on my way to Franz joseph and it was amazing.

The room was better than expected. Even though the Motel is close to the road there is no traffic overnight on the road so very quiet. Just the sounds of the waves breaking on the nearby shore. About 100 yards to an isolated beach which was wonderful.
