Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
We liked everything about Alpine Motel. Its located very close to the village centre. Checkin process was very smooth and staff was very helpful. Room was very comfy and clean. We also loved the dvds and books that were available.
Cute little motel in Arthur’s Pass. Has a decent kitchen if you want to cook (you probably do because the restaurants aren’t great). Friendly staff, clean room, and heated blankets on the bed!
Room had a well-equipped kitchen with stove, pots, pans, utensils, and a fridge. This was helpful since there weren't many dinner options nearby.
The room was quiet for sleeping, despite being located on the roadside.
Spacious well equipped, warm and clean and very welcoming. We were sceptical about motels as characterless and purely functional, but this motel has changed our minds. Will return to enjoy the area more and won’t look further than this motel for accommodation.
The motel is located just outside the main strip of shops so it's very quiet. We had a log burner in the cabin which was lovely and made the room very cosy indeed.
To be honest, given the remote location, we weren't expecting anything too much.
However, my wife and I were extremely happy with our unit at Arthur's Pass Alpine Motel.... it well exceeded our expectations.
We would gladly stay here again, and recommend to our friends to do likewise.
Everything we needed for our stay , quite in the evening , lovely bed all facilities you could need for a walking holiday . Plus free parking. Friendly host, Alpine parrot cafe & bar is 5mins down the road. thank you so much.
