The apartment is bit outside of the city center but we like it. And behind the apartment there is a view point which we watched the beautiful sunset on the Norwegian see.
Tips for family who travels by car: there are actually few parking spaces (white lines) on the same street (free parking between 16:00-8:00 overnight), just 50m away from the apartment building.
Comfortable bed, and in general a really good stay. The host where really nice and the option to both cook my food and get my laundry washed was nice. Free parking and good pricing.

I liked hammocks for kids and toys. Everything you need in the kitchen for cooking. It is a clean, nice apartment. Easy and free parking on the street. Not far from the Aquarium and hiking trails. The were shop nearby.
Nice, modern basement flat with separate bedroom and ensuite bathroom. There's a washer and dryer too. The kitchen has all you need to cook as well as a coffee maker. There's a couple of outdoor chairs and table as well. Water pressure in the shower was excellent. Free parking is available on the street.
Location was central . Rooms came with good coffee machines . As a guest of the hotel you can get discounted access to the floating sauna , adjacent to the hotel .
The location is amazing, and having free parking here was so helpful. The place is really big which is a nice change from tiny hotel rooms. Other than the original dramas when checking in, the place was amazing.
One of the few places with free parking in Ålesund. Good communication with the host and they were very responsive when we had a question about something in the apartment. Big living room and dining area. The kitchen was well equipped. Good location for walking up the Sukkertoppen (which we very much recommend!) and if you don't want to drive into town there is a bus stop nearby.
