The bed sheets were disgustingly unclean, and the bed wasn’t made correctly, looks like someone was sleeping on it before we checked in. The price of the night was 80€ and the service and facilities weren’t as expected for the price paid. I will value this hotel as Motel not a 3 stars hotel. No safe was in the room, no plugs in the bathroom or in the bed side table. Been to ibis in different countries in Europe, but shamed to say that Ibis hotel in tanger, a city in my home country is the WORST.
This was probably one of the most comfortable and visually satisfying hostels I’ve been in. Rooms, beds, common areas are all very comfortable. Breakfast is amazing. I was also working remotely, and that also worked very well, wifi connection was fast and reliable. The hostel is also in a very central location, with easy access to a lot of the sights. The whole staff was very nice and I felt at home all times. I left with a lot of new friends :)
We got a free upgrade to a suite - beautiful room with exceptional views of both the hills/ mountains on one side and the sea on the front.

This Riad is amazingly beautiful, very simple on the outside (looks like a regular house) but a truly Sherazade palace on the inside. The owner is super friendly and very helpful, gave us nice tips on things to do and places to see in Tanger. The location is good, not far from the Kasbah and with free parking with guard only 300m away. Confortable rooms and very well equiped, very fast internet (NETFLIX available on TV). Very good breakfast included. Don't forget to check the terrace!
