Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
A small camp just next to the sand dunes! Dinner was very tasty & traditional. Breakfast was ok (buffet style). Cleaning standards are similar to a camping, don’t expect something more. They offered us a 2.5h tour with a car in the dessert(45€ per person) and an 1h tour with the squats (45€ per person). They picked us up from a parking spot (free parking) and took us for free to the camp. Communication was great & everyone was nice.
Friendly staff. They offer rides to the camp and free parking for your car.
The room was quite large and the bathroom was clean and had hot water (despite being in the desert)
At night, they light a bonfire and teach some traditional dances and even how to play the bongo drums.
We wanted to go quad biking in the desert and they arranged the whole thing as well.
Overall, it was a fun and relaxing time at the Zahra desert camp.
The host was very friendly and welcoming. We were welcomed with a cup of tea. The place is next to the desert and there is a free parking place. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Room was nice and comfortable.
Great location. Great price. Free parking space. Nice room. Very spacious dining room. Very friendly owner. His wife Fatima is an excelent cook. I recommend dinner. In the evening we walked on the dunes and waited for the sunset. The next day we got up at six in the morning and went to the dunes to wait for the sunrise. An invaluable experience.
Absolutely amazing clean place. I loved my 2nd stay here at this beautiful hotel in the desert Merzouga.
The rooms are clean and everything works perfectly.
It is so easy to find and with free parking too.
Its so nice at night time with all the lights on around the pool area👌
The staff are so kind and the berber food is absolutely perfect. The tajines are to die for and big helpings too.
Thank you again to everyone who made my stay there so special as always. See you all again soon
This place was just perfect for us! It had everything we needed, it was close to the dunes and with an amazing view from the terrace. It also had a little inside garden. Mohamed and his son were very, very helpful and really treated us like family! They went out of their way to help us and make our stay great. They had free parking as well as wifi. They helped us get an overnight tour to the dessert, and we even got to meet their whole family at the end of our stay.
I loved my stay here at Trans Sahara in Merzouga village, it was very peaceful to relax on the patio with the view of the desert dunes.
The staff were lovely and brought me my tajine up to my patio when I ate there in the evening.
Wfi worked great and bonus is free parking behind the hotel.
Thank you to all the staff who made my stay so amazing.
Will definitely return and would totally recommend this accommodation. Loved it.
